Action Forum and Discussion

•    Look behind the headlines to learn more about what is happening now on critical issues of immigrant justice.  Discuss the vital human needs, the public policy conflicts, and the increasing demands on our values and faith. Explore progress, heartbreak and hope on:

•    The President’s Executive Immigration Relief Programs for Undocumented Students, Graduates and Parents

•    Children Continuing to Flee Central America Seeking Refuge in the U.S.

•    Refugee Families Being Held in Immigration Prisons in Texas

•    What the Texas Legislature did and did not do on immigrant rights

•    Hear the stories of some of the young undocumented students, graduates, and parents seeking justice in the present crisis – and sometimes succeeding..

•    Discuss with experts, the pivotal social controversy and challenges that confront us and the very real progress within our reach.  Learn what you can do to help.
